selecting files and folders
selecting files and folders
When full row select is disabled files and folders can only be highlighted with the selection rectangle...is it possible to select them by just dragging down the same way the selection works when full row is enabled?

(I'm looking at 1.5 alpha...)
With Full Row Select, seems you can still select files, but not directories.
(There might be a switch to allow directories, not sure? Do a search & see if anything turns up.)
Have to ask, once you've selected, then what do you do?
(I find the whole action very awkward.)

What I'm looking for is a way to select files without the mask the same way as is done with the full row select enabled, just by dragging the mouse up or down rather than using the mask.
I usually have to select files and/or folders to copy an item into them.
