i am a newbie. how can i search for check for updates that is windows update, not everything update.. and other os settings with everything?

Everything is for searching/finding files and folders.

For what you want, you need a 3rd party application launcher. Here are the ones that use Everything for finding files.
(Not sure if all of those support what you want)

To create a shortcut to Windows Update:

• Right click your Desktop and click New -> Shortcut.
• Set the location of the item to:
  ms-settings:windowsupdate
• Click Next.
• Set the Name to:
  Update
• Click Finish.

Move the shortcut to another folder if desired, for example: C:\Shortcuts

To find this shortcut in Everything, search for:
update.url

Feel free to rename the shortcut to anything you like.
