Filesize of selected items

Please consider showing a filesize for selected item in the results list if the results are all files and the index setting is set to "Index file size".

e.g. 8 videos at 1GB each = 8GB

To show the total file size in the status bar:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the View tab on the left.
• Check Show size in status bar.
• Click OK.

There is a minor performance lost when enabling.

If there is an active selection, the total selected file size is shown.
Otherwise, the total size of all results is shown.



This performance lost will be mostly non-existent in the next version of Everything.
This setting will be enabled by default in the next version of Everything.
