Remove an index, or a catalog in the folder panel?

Post by Biff »

To remove an index, or a catalog in the folder panel (e.g. by selecting one and click in the context menu something like "remove index / catalog" is not possible, as far as I know. Can indexes only be removed in the index tab?

Currently, indexed volumes can only be changed under Tools -> Options -> Indexes.

I will consider an option to add/remove to index from the folder sidebar.
Thank you for the suggestion.

For now, please consider right clicking the Everything item and clicking Properties to show the Tools -> Options -> Indexes page.

Many thanks!

So any item in the result list with path / letter, etc.of the index to remove? In the context menu I cannot find "Properties" (for Everything).

In the folder sidebar, right click the Everything item (the first item in the treeview) and click Properties to show the Tools -> Options -> Indexes page.

Ah, sorry, OK, thank you. Maybe pressing the shortcut is faster / easier.

Understood, perhaps you can get dircetly to the index in the index tab by open the context menu of some item contained in that index, or so.
