Latest version of Everything? (1.2.1.451a??)

Hi

I am confused. My old PC has Everything version 1.2.1.451a installed (which has lots of juicy options) but according to voidtools.com, the most recent version of Everything search is 1.2.1.351 (with fewer options).
So is "451a" some kind of Beta version, and if so where can we find it (and why isnt it easier to find on www.voidtools.com...? (!)).
And if "451a" is a Beta version, is it the very latest beta version??

Oh I see it looks like it was an Alpha version.

(Request: Please can we have a more obvious way of finding our Alpha releases!)

Agreed.
451 has been "alpha" long enough. It is high time "alpha" or not, that it be made the "latest" & the official download at http://www.voidtools.com/.

Quite often I extol the virtues of Everything, & I point the person to http://www.voidtools.com/, but then I need to follow up saying, "though you should actually download the version, "Everything" version 1.2.1.451a".

I consider myself to be a hard man to please, but Everything search is basically absolutely brilliant.
(I have tried several other search utilities and they are all bug-ridden, resource hungry and basically rubbish!)

And I would cheerfully donate a fair few bucks to keep it going.

BUT
a) the developer(s) appear to be asleep.
b) It's a rather silly and totally confusing name.

I got 1.2.1.452 quite some time ago from support that fixed a problem I had.
So there's life after 1.2.1.451a but it would be nice to get more updates.

I still have some problems with it not updating its list with files in the Windows folders.
Protected folders/files are not excluded so it might be a problem running it under Win7 x64.

All in all though, a great utility.
