Everything 1.5.1338 on Windows10. Although history option is empty the results of a search are incorrect. I try to explain myself with a test I made
I have a USB Removable Hard Disk (F) and a USB Pendrive (D)
I copied 3 files named "Smith Chart Basic 01,02,03" in the following path
First path D:\ Second path F:\Gruppi\Video M-Z
The test:
In insert only pendrive D in the USB socket and I search "Smith Chart Basic" Correct answer
Remove the pendrive (D) and insert the hard disk (F) and I search "Smith Chart Basic" again
a) Everything shows the files of the pendrive (D) which has been removed from the pc
b) Everything duplicate results of Hard Disk (F)
I enclose screenshot hoping to have explained
Everything keeps previous searches

Re: Everything keeps previous searches
You likely have the setting Automatically remove offline volumes unchecked?
This setting can be found under menu:Tools => Options => Indexes => ...
... the next step will depend on the type of disk. Check under FAT/NTFS/ReFS if your drive is listed there.
Keeping Automatically remove offline volumes checked can be useful to also see the content of off-line drives?
(off-line drives are shown in a dimmed/greyed out font).
But that is personal preference.
Everything shows these files in 2 diffrenet locations: F:\ and F:\Gruppi\Video M-Z. (see the Path column).b) Everything duplicate results of Hard Disk (F)
Check your disk if this is indeed the case.
Re: Everything keeps previous searches
There's some issues at the moment with Everything confusing volumes with the same drive letter.
I'm working on a fix.
For now, the best option might be to enable Automatically remove offline volumes as mentioned above.
