Dark mode vs. menu_items_per_column setting

I just changed to 18 menu entries per menu-column, so that the Search menu entry shows Filters separate from the other menu entries. [1]
(setting: /menu_items_per_column=18)

In dark mode, the Search menu will now be shown in the standard theme, even after restarting Everything.
Just mentioning; I know there are still things to do in that regard.


[1] Also to keep the statusbar clear to show information about the selected filter.
Might be useful to have a setting that shows as much entries as possible up until the statusbar (if there isn't one already).

Thanks for the issue report NotNull,

It's a limitation with stock Windows menus.

The stock menus do not support dark theme with MFT_MENUBREAK (menu_items_per_column) items.



I have on my TODO list to add my own context menus.
It's high on my TODO list, but probably wont happen for Everything 1.5.
