[Suggestion] Copy path keyboard shortcut work with treeview

Post by B1-66ER »

Especially when the folder is empty, then can't Tab to switch to the result list entry to apply keyboard shortcut.

Also the treeview highlight selector, it explore target, keep updating to result list in real time as moving, which is cool but cause slow, also is not the default behavior of Windows File Manager. Would you consider giving an option to explore in result list on demand when moving? Like upon space or enter issues or a timeout.

Customizable folder sidebar keyboard shortcuts are on my TODO list.

For now, the hard-coded Ctrl + Shift + C shortcut will copy as path.

I will consider a delay before searching when changing the folder sidebar selection.

Thank you for the suggestions.

It's been noticed that both delay and no delay are demanded on different situations.

Delay demanded: when holding a key like [Down].
No delay demanded: cycle [Up][Down] to fast compare 2 folders.

I think an always minimal delay as small as, can help to deal the gray areas

As I found that on my phone, 175ms is the ideal long touch timeout duration for productivity, but it could be too fast for some situations. e.g. a not that comfortable physical key, or i'm in moving, or in winters.
