Search per volume

Hey David !

I have 9 External drives permanently attached to my PC and each of them is a mess
I think that adding a dropdown box with the drives letters and limiting the search results
to that drive would speed up search results and rest the RAM a bit.

Please try search filters.

To add a search filter for a drive:

• In Everything, from the Search menu, click Add to filters....
• Type in the filter name, eg:

  Code: Select all

  C Drive

• Set the search to drive path, eg:

  Code: Select all

  c:

• Click OK

To show the filter bar:

• In Everything, from the View menu, click Filters.

If you really want to be efficient, please consider file lists.
Create a file list of each external drive.
Open and search the file lists as needed.
