pdf Context Menu

I have both Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader installed. Windows Explorer shows both of them in the right-click context menus for a .pdf. Everything's context menu only shows Adobe Reader. Since I have to restore a registry entry each time I apply maintenance to Adobe Reader, it is very possible that something in the registry is not set the way Everything expects (even through Windows Explorer is happy). What might be causing this?

Please try the x64 version of Everything.

x64 shell menu extensions will not work with Everything x86.

I am using (from "About Everything") Version 1.3.4.686 (x64).

I also tried context_menu_type=3, thinking it might have something to do with the problem.

As far as I can tell, it is not a shell extension, just these entries in the registry:

I'm getting Edit with Adobe Acrobat and Combine files in Acrobat... context menus items in Everything and Windows Explorer.
Clicking the context menu item Open in Everything is opening the pdf with Adobe Acrobat.

Everything replaces the default open context menu item with its own "Open". They still do the same thing, except it is always called Open in Everything.

Using:
Everything Version 1.3.4.686 (x64)
Windows 8 x64
Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.07
Adobe Reader XI 11.0.09

Does the context menu item open in Everything open the pdf with Adobe Acrobat 8?
What context menu items do you see in Windows Explorer?

Thank you so much. That was the clue I needed. I changed the key for the Acrobat entry from OPEN to EDIT and now it appears in Everything's context menu.

I have Reader XI and Acrobat 8. They do not play well together in the registry, so anytime I apply fixes I have to correct
the registry so Windows Explorer works (It shows Open with Reader and Edit with Acrobat). With the latest adjustment,
Everything shows three entries: Open (which opens Reader), Open with Reader and Edit with Acrobat.
