Make Everything always search partial file names?

I can't figure out what settings to use to make Everything dynamically show both full and partial file names in searches. I can make i search for partial file names when writing "partialfilenmame*" but I know I can make i do searches without the need for * - but how?
Can anyone please help ?

Search Menu -> Match Whole Word

Enabled = Matches the whole word.
Disabled = Matches partial filenames.

Set the default setting in Tools -> Options -> Home -> Match Whole Word.
