I know the under the hood stuff is limited to NTFS
but what makes Everything great is not just fast indexing ntfs journal
Its the interface
its absolutely beautify simple, snappy, no bullshit stuff
live filter as you type is just beyond useful
I would just love to use the "locate" command through Everything's interface
Everything is the only program I truly miss since I switched to linux
I know this is a long shot
It would needed to be open source or you would be bothered by gazilion distributions for binaries
ah well, I just had to say this...
