Just recently discovered File List Editor when I was searching for a way to catalog all my external hard drives so I can keep track of which files are in which drives. I was thinking that it would be incredibly useful if Everything had the option to automatically catalog (generate/update a file list) of a drive that is plugged into the computer. Also, it would show how much of the drive is used up by the files listed (such as 370.1GB/465GB).
Thoughts?
Automatic catalog when plugging in hard drive?

Updating efu files is on my TODO list.
I had indented for efu files to be static lists, but also understand the desire for updating them.
Folder indexing maybe better suited to indexing and updating indexes for drives that are not always plugged into the computer.
The next release will also improve offline NTFS volume support.
Remembering the free space is interesting, I'll look into adding that information as a efu file list comment and maybe displaying it in the status bar when a efu file list result is selected.
