All-in-one installer - Why is it better than multiple files?
All-in-one installer - Why is it better than multiple files?
Re: All-in-one installer - Why is it better than multiple fi
I'd assume that it would include both the 32 & 64-bit versions & install "as appropriate"?
(That said, I just use the 32-bit everywhere. At least I've never found any instance where having x64 would be of benefit - to me. But then, I don't use the installer either.)

8 installers/portable versions is too much. Why is it better than multiple files?
I'm thinking of having only one installer on the download page, there will be a link to the usual x86/x64/English only/multilingual/portable/installer options available on another page.
The all-in-one installer would include the 32 and 64bit versions. The user can choose which version no matter what OS they are running. (32bit will be selected as the default)
The all-in-one installer will also have a portable exe extract option.
The downside is this all-in-one installer may be a bit larger at roughly 2MB.

Suggestion:
1+8
In Home page will be only the 1 All-One-Installer.
In Downloads page will be all downloads. 1+8 ...
Then it will be similiar to SourceForge projects, in HomePage of the project there is the default download, and there is FILES page for the other downloads.
