I propose to arrange the content inside ini file in 2 zones:
1. the one which is edited inside the program (to be displayed at the beginning of the file and in the order displayed in Options)
2. the second one, which can be changed only by text editing the ini file
For the second one it can be easier if you can add an exe file for editing. A simple window with several tabs.
INI file editing
Re: INI file editing
I'll look into splitting the ini into sections and supplying a tool to modify all the Everything ini options.
For now, please check http://www.voidtools.com/support/everyt ... n_settings.
I'll be updating this more before the stable release of Everything 1.4.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: INI file editing
There will probably be no change to the Everything.ini layout in Everything 1.4..Any news regarding splitting the ini into sections?
I'll review it in Everything 1.5.
I'll consider a separate program to manage all the ini settings in a UI.
Re: INI file editing
Is it possible to make the program to write only the non-default settings to ini file?
Maybe on the first line to have the option full_ini, which can be zero for reduced ini and 1 for full ini (as it is now).
