Your external drive is most likely not available immediately after waking from hibernate.
Everything will remove this volume from the index and reindex it when available.
Please try disabling "auto remove offline volumes":

- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the NTFS tab.
- Uncheck Automatically remove offline volumes.
- Click OK.

In my case, my "offline" (USB HDD drives, if you will, like S:) shows, Enable USN Journal, as grayed out.
And the grayed out Max/Allocation numbers are much higher then yours?
My S: does not particularly "sleep", except that it may be physically off.
S: entries persist in Everything (even when off), which is fine.
And when I turn S: on, it only takes a few seconds to update (Everything).
In Device Manager, Disk Drives (Properties), I have the drive set for "Quick Removal", if that should matter.
(Does, Automatically remove offline volumes, need a bit of translation on your end?)
