It would be very helpful to have any enabled search options appear in the status bar in one's desired color of choice in order to better alert the user when an option is inadvertently selected. Just one optional color for all search options is sufficient. Also, showing the current filter in the status bar with this color, whether the filter dropdown is visible or not, is also helpful.
