Need help regarding exclude filters

Post by VarunAgw »

My goal is to index xyz.ect while preventing xyz-backup1.ect, xyz-backup2.ect,.. from showing up into search results. How can I do this using Indexes->Exclude->Add Filter?

Does -backup? accomplish anything?

I don't know, but I just noticed that the Add filter refers to Exclude Folders.
Try using Exclude Files at bottom. [If this is the case...]

So what, *-backup*.ect (or similar) worked when that was placed in 'Exclude files:' (at the bottom)?
