The following feature in Everything would be very useful:
This feature copies a command-line to the clipboard which recreates the EXACT current results, with the same sorting, views etc..
This would allow to experiment with searches in Everything with visual feedback. When the search gives back the desired results, then it can be copied as command-line to the clipboard and reused later.
This command-line should use all needed command-line parameters in a redundant way. This would make sure to get the very exact result even if the user changes settings manually in Everything.

Yes, it does. But for some purposes a command-line would be useful.therube wrote:Does Bookmarks do what you want?

Re: Create command-line to recreate current result
For example, the "Edit Bookmark" dialog could have two additional buttons:
• "Copy as Commandline": This would copy the current Bookmark configuration as a command-line to the clipboard. This would have the additional benefit to let the user select which parameters should be included in the command-line.
• "Save as Link": This would create a shell-link (.LNK) on the desktop containing the above command-line.
