can there be column headers for type, .ext etc

I know one can sort the file lists under View/SortBy for various things like Type and Extension and one can do the sorts by CTRL/num BUT I've been using Everything for years and seem to recall Type and Extension as being clickable column headers. This could be a false memory, a hidden option, a removed feature, or something else I can't imagine. Point is, I want a Type column and an Ext column just like Name, Path, Size and Modified. I'm hoping for a hidden option I can toggle.
