Bug submission guidelines for Alpha version

Post by aviasd »

Great new everything version!

Are there any bug submission guidelines for the new 1.5 ?

If there are I'd suggest they'd be put in a sticky post at the top.

Also, for alpha, I'd suggest having debug logging enabled by default to some file to catch some hard to recreate crash cases ( Had one after 5 minutes of running the new version )

Cheers

P.S As a side note, I've recently took a look at Structured Logging ( Namely for .Net ) which might be worth mentioning as the debug log is quite verbose by now. I'm sure there's a cpp variant

Thank you for your feedback aviasd,

I will look into a web-based bug tracker.
Thanks for the suggestion.

For now, please post here or send me an email.

I'll update my TODO list here: TODO.

To debug Everything, please see Debugging.
Debug logging is disabled by default as logs can grow quite large.

More here if you wish to enable debugging by default.

Thanks for the Structured Logging suggestion.
