Please make sure Everything is installed correctly:
The file might still be open, Everything will update the size when the file is closed.
The file might be heavily fragmented and Everything 1.4 had trouble finding/reading the file data record on the NTFS volume.
The file might be a hard link -Everything 1.4 has trouble tracking hard links.
Please try forcing a rebuild:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the General tab on the left.
- Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything
- Uncheck Run as administrator.
- Check Everything Service. (Please make sure this is tick-checked and not square-checked)
- Click OK.
- Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
- Restart Everything.

I did restart the PC a few times.
Winrar was closed.
Weekly optimisations are done automatically.
