Everything will automatically index fixed NTFS volumes.


Your external USB F: drive is most likely formatted with exFAT.


To add your F: drive to your Everything index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab.
• Click Add....
• Select your F: drive and click OK.
• Click OK.

If your F: drive is an NTFS volume, please use NTFS indexing instead:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the NTFS tab.
• Select your F: drive.
• Check Include in database.
• Click OK.
