Everything crashes when I search for a specific word

Hi All - Everything on my PC crashes every time I search for the word "Price", without quotes. This is very odd. Can someone tell me what could be happening here and how to fix it? I am using version 1.5.0.1537a, 64 bit portable version.

Please try disabling icon shell extensions in Everything:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Advanced tab on the left.
• To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
  icon
• Select icon_shell_extensions.
• Set the value to: false
• Click OK.

Does the issue persist?

Please try forcing a rebuild:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Indexes tab on the left.
• Click Force Rebuild.
• Click OK.

yes, did that too and it still persists. It is so odd that only this particular word is crashing it.

Are you viewing as thumbnails?
-Please try disabling Thumbnails (View -> Details) to see if stability improves.

Could you please send your Help -> Troubleshooting information.

If you test with Everything 1.4, does the crash also occur?

Does Everything rely on Windows "icon cache"?

In that "clearing" (rebuilding) the Windows icon cache might alleviate the issue (without disabling the display of icons in Everything)?

Yes, you can try deleting your icon cache: C:\Users\<your-user-name>\AppData\Local\IconCache.db

Same for thumbnail cache: C:\Users\<your-user-name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\thumbcache_256.db
