Earlier with something searched and opened, Everything window becomes inactive and stayed in the taskbar. If I had to recall that I press the systray icon to bring it back as it is , because the inactive window icon may have hidden itself in another layer due to many folders and app opened.
Now the home window slightly alters the advantage. It brings a new window on pressing the systray icon overriding the already existing one , and the option to use last search in search will not be prudent , because it will never start with a clean search!
Can a difference be made between recalling a inactive window and starting a new window from the systray. Thanks.
Minimised vs Closed Windows
Re: Minimised vs Closed Windows
I am going to trial the following for the next beta update:
''Showing'' an existing window either with a hotkey, tray icon, or running Everything.exe will no longer open the home page.
The home page will only be shown when a new window is created.
