I saw a couple of previous posts on this topic, but no answer was given. When I first boot my computer, Everything Search works fine. But after some random time or event, subsequent openings of the program from the system tray shows zero objects. The only way I've found to fix it is to reboot my computer.
I'm using version 1.3.4.686
Everything Search shows zero objects.
Re: Everything Search shows zero objects.
Open the Search menu & verify that you hadn't inadvertently enabled an unwanted filter.

Re: Everything Search shows zero objects.
Thanks; I'll check that next time the problem occurs.
Re: Everything Search shows zero objects.
If you have 0 objects then it is highly likely Everything encountered an error when re-indexing.
Please force a rebuild from Tools -> Options -> Indexes.
Please try enabling Keep offline volumes as this may reduce the times Everything needs to re-index.

Re: Everything Search shows zero objects.
I'll try that, but am still waiting for the problem to pop up again. Thanks!
Re: Everything Search shows zero objects.
It is most likely that, under Tools/Options/Indexes/NTFS, you don't have any drives selected for indexing.
