Hi all,
First, I love the minimalistic approach, and most of all: the Speed of Everything! Someone just recently recommended it to me, and now I'm really wondering how I could live with ye olde windows search all these years...
One thing I'm missing though: How many files did the search find?
Should be very easy to implement, just put it in the window title, in () right behind the query...
(Or is there an option somewhere that I missed?)

The number of results is shown in the status bar (when there is no selection).
To show the status bar:

Oooh, right - Thanks, now I remember I specifically turned the status bar off, because it kind of gets in the way of the minimalistic look and feel...
Don't you think it would be a nice thing to have, basic information such as this in the window title? (with an option to turn it off...)

I've added to my TODO list: add an option to show the number of results in the window caption.
To customize your Window Caption please see:
/support/everything/customizing/#window_caption
Unfortunately, there's no option for result count yet.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: very simple yet useful: Number of found files
Hello, My problem related to count in the status bar is as follows:
– after the application loads the list of files, the number of files listed is displayed, but
– as soon as I click on a file the number is lost and file particulars are displayed, eventually
– there is no way to have the number of files displayed again.
Any suggestion how I could handle this problem on my own, or – still more desirable option – whether the problem may be solved by the developers in a forseeable future.
Anyway, your EV is excellent!

Thanks a lot for your advice. Very simple, indeed, and I missed it because I tought that there might be a toggle option to swich from one status bar content setting the to the other. Best regards, Marek
